Brace yourself! Quasels come in waves.

A wave is a collection of Quasel puzzles—typically between 10 and 50—that is released as a series.

​

Only one Quasel from a wave is available at any given time. Each day at 00:00 London time, today's puzzle quietly disappears and is replaced by the next one. Simply refresh your browser to reveal the latest Quasel.

When the final Quasel of a wave has appeared, the wave starts again from the beginning and keeps cycling until a new wave is released.

When that happens:

​

• the new wave becomes active and provides Today's Quasels

• the previous wave moves into the Museum, where every puzzle remains available forever

• or at least until the Sun becomes a red giant.

Why do it this way?

​

• New players can join at any time and still experience every Quasel in the wave.

• Returning players get a chance to revisit favourites—or simply give their brains a well-earned rest.

• The artist also gets time to dream up the next collection.
