If you're wondering...

The coloured spheres repeat all quasel colours, making the total easy to verify.

The quasel totals in the above examples are 73 and 12.

If you dare to count the eyes (the holes of each quasel) as well, those are shown beneath each colour. Mind you a knot is not an eye!

The eye totals above are 386 and 41.

And yes—“Quasel” actually stands for:
Quantum-mechanically Asymmetrical Elastoid

Coming soon...

Your daily piece of art - and it's also a puzzle.

A brand-new type, unique in the puzzle world.

Some puzzles are solved by thinking.

Quasels are solved by seeing.

Quasels are interwoven shapes that look like one continuous tangle.
Your task is simple: How many separate quasels are there?

The white version is the puzzle.

The coloured version reveals the answer - and completes the artwork.

This can be quite straightforward - or a bit harder, difficulty varies.
